This coffee is decaffeinated using the natural CO2 method. The most common form of decaffeination using a solvent is believed to have adverse effects both on health and the ozone layer. This bean has good body and gives a smooth, slightly sweet cup with all the complexities of the real thing. It makes an amazing espresso coffee.

I bought a kilo of this with the intention of becoming a little more healthy. I have to add right now that I am not staying healthy. It is very good coffee but I am a coffee addict and this will simply not do. If you need a wake up buzz first thing and around 11:00 do not buy this coffee even though it is excellent.
