This quality of tea is so difficult to produce that we have had to wait all summer for the garden to collect enough pure golden tips. They have managed to provide us with just 20kgs. This gives you an idea of how difficult it is to produce such a tea. Generally, these buds would be blended into a larger lot of tea to improve the appearance and add a sparkle of something special, so it is a real treat and a rare opportunity to try it on its own. It is very smooth, though rich and has a fully malty character. I fear that most of this tea will disappear in house, all in the name of research you understand!
