A very popular drink for those who have an intolerance to caffeine are these fruit and herbal tisanes. The fruit infusions are generally a mixture of rosehip, hibiscus, apple, orange and currants which are flavoured with natural oils and freeze dried fruit as desired. They should be made strongly and brewed for as long as possible. They are refreshing both hot and cold and are a healthier alternative to soft drinks for children, sweetened with honey or sugar to taste.
