Soft Brew Tea and Coffee Pots

I'm really pleased that someone has finally invented the product for which I have been looking for over 20 years. Indeed it is high in the FAQ's asked by customers. Do you have a coffee pot like the many infuser teapots you sell?

The answer until now has been no. The reason being that the mesh from which the tea infusers are made, though great for tea were not fine enough to stop the coffee escaping.

Now, we have cafetieres which do a similar thing but crucially do not stop the coffee brewing, only trap the grinds in the bottom. Let's be honest, we are sick of the sight of them too, however many colours you can buy them in!

The SoftBrew pots designed by George Sowden, not only utilise great engineering to bring out the best in your choice of coffee but they are desirable too.

The premise for making coffee is simple, pour hot water onto coffee grinds and allow to brew. I don't know a coffee farmer who would not argue that it is the only way to make coffee if you care to capture its true complexity. Now this of course can be achieved by using a jug, but that method doesn't deal with the fact that nobody wants a mouthful of coffee grinds. The small particles, or 'fines' as they are known, are desirable, giving body and a silky feel in the mouth, but you don't want anything you can crunch.

The SoftBrew, patented filter, allows all the flavour to be realised, releases the fines into the liquor but keeps the grinds in the removable stainless steel filter.

I'm sure that there will be those of you that enjoy their coffee made in many other ways but I'm certain if you try it in this simplest of fashions, you will discover the full taste.
